Duties

- Engage with customers in a lively and professional manner to understand their gardening, landscaping, or outdoor needs
- Provide expert recommendations on plant identification, floral design, lawn care, and landscape maintenance products
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions
- Assist with merchandising and stocking to keep the store organized, attractive, and well-supplied
- Support outdoor work activities such as plant care demonstrations or landscape maintenance advice when needed
- Handle customer inquiries via phone communication promptly and professionally
- Maintain knowledge of e-commerce platforms to assist customers with online orders or product information





Requirements

- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service preferred; outdoor work experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset
- Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, floral design, or landscape maintenance highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and cash handling procedures
- Passion for plants, outdoor environments, and gardening tools or supplies
- Excellent organizational skills for stocking shelves and managing inventory levels
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety and professionalism
