Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Seasonal Sales Persons to represent our brand and manage our busy retail booths at two of the region's premier holiday markets. We provide full training—no prior sock-selling experience required!

- Wage: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Job Type: Temporary / Seasonal (Weekend shifts)

Seasonal Availability & Market HoursEnjoy a flexible schedule during fall/winter markets at Spruce Meadows and/or The Saskatoon Farm (Between Nov. 13 – Dec. 6, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Staff must be available to work shifts aligned with the following 2026 event operating hours: Spruce Meadows International Christmas Market Hours

- Fridays: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (All Ages) | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Adults-Only Night)
- Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Sundays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Market Weekends: Nov 13–15, Nov 20–22, Nov 27–29, and Dec 4–6

The Saskatoon Farm Christmas Market Hours

- Fridays: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sundays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Market Weekends: Nov 27–29 and Dec 4–6

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Festive Hospitality: Greet visitors with high energy, provide gift recommendations, share product knowledge about our Merino wool,



and maintain a cheerful holiday atmosphere.
- POS & Transactions: Efficiently and accurately process cash and card payments using mobile POS systems while keeping transaction lines moving smoothly.
- Visual Merchandising: Continuously restock displays, update price tags, and keep the sock stall looking full, beautifully organized, and festive.
- Weather & Stall Maintenance: Keep the booth clean, tidy, and secure merchandise against winter elements like snow, wind, and rain.
- Crowd & Line Management: Manage busy rush periods efficiently, answer general market questions, and resolve customer inquiries quickly under pressure.

Requirements:

- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings during the peak market weeks (Friday to Sunday).
- Professionalism: Ability to remain professional, courteous, and enthusiastic at all times with holiday shoppers.
- Independence: Able to work reliably on your own with little to no direct supervision on-site.
- Visual Accuracy: Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately distinguish between many different product colours, patterns, and shades.
