Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs related to gardening, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance products.
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on plant identification, horticulture techniques, lawn care, and floral design to help customers make informed decisions.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit transactions, and returns while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are attractively presented.
- Assist with inventory management through retail math skills to track stock levels and coordinate stock replenishment efficiently.
- Support outdoor work activities such as landscape maintenance or gardening projects when needed.




- Communicate effectively via phone or in person to answer customer inquiries and provide product recommendations in multiple languages if applicable.

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, or floral design is highly desirable.
- Hands-on outdoor work experience related to gardening or landscaping will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Strong communication skills and organizational abilities are necessary to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms or online product promotion is a bonus but not mandatory.
