Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly, providing outstanding customer service and product knowledge to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Assist customers with product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, tidy, and visually appealing through effective merchandising
- Manage inventory by stocking new products, conducting stock checks, and supporting inventory counts
- Handle cashier duties including cash drawer handling, retail math calculations, and processing returns or exchanges with professionalism
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via other communication channels





Qualifications

- Previous retail sales experience or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math skills for retail transactions
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs
- Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and customer service best practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise safely, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and upselling strategies to enhance customer engagement
