Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our retail team to success! Duties

- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Manage daily store operations, including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) system management, inventory control, and merchandising.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining optimal pricing and promotional displays.
- Oversee purchasing decisions and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all visitors.
- Monitor store budget, control expenses, and perform bookkeeping duties such as payroll processing and financial record keeping.
- Utilize solid organizational skills to plan staffing schedules effectively while managing time efficiently across multiple responsibilities.




- Apply negotiation skills during vendor negotiations or conflict resolution to achieve favorable outcomes for the store.
- Lead marketing initiatives by coordinating promotional events and ensuring effective in-store signage and branding.

Experience

- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales or store management is essential.
- Demonstrated success in team management with strong leadership capabilities.
- Experience with merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic bookkeeping practices.
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages are a plus; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Background in recruiting, interviewing candidates, training staff, and developing team members’ skills through coaching and mentoring.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes, payroll administration, administrative tasks, and organizational skills required for efficient store operation.
- Experience in marketing activities such as promotional planning or community engagement is advantageous.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively with excellent time management skills.
