Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, durability, and weather resistance of roofing systems. Duties

- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately using hand tools and blueprint reading skills
- Install various roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, tiles, or flat roofs with precision and safety in mind
- Repair or replace damaged roofing components to extend the lifespan of existing roofs
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure watertight joints and prevent leaks
- Lift heavy materials such as shingles, plywood, or metal sheets safely and efficiently during installation or repair tasks
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to follow project specifications closely
- Perform routine inspections of roofs to identify issues early and recommend appropriate solutions




- Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools and debris regularly

Qualifications

- Proven experience with construction work, especially roofing projects preferred
- Robust knowledge of hand tools including hammers, screwdrivers, utility knives, and measuring tapes
- Carpentry skills that support precise cutting and fitting of roofing materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with caulking and sealing techniques for weatherproofing roofs
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights in various weather conditions
- Handyman experience is a plus for troubleshooting diverse roofing challenges
- Prior construction or roofing experience is highly desirable
