Key Responsibilities

1. Driver Compliance &
- Safety Coordination

- Assist B1 and CDL drivers with Hours of Service (HOS) compliance, tracking duty statuses and addressing log issues.

- Audit Samsara driver activity, ensuring all Mexican (MX) drivers consistently log in and log out of the system.

- Maintain and update onboard truck binders, proactively reviewing permits, registrations, and certifications to coordinate missing or expired documents with the Canadian Safety Team.

1. Cross-Border Fuel Management &
- Fraud Prevention

- Reconcile and update Nuevo Laredo fuel data, coordinating records with the Canadian Safety department.

- Manage trip fuel coordination, updating fuel management records and validating driver performance to ensure fuel efficiency bonuses are properly awarded.

- Investigate and report Mexico (MX) fuel theft, taking immediate corrective action in line with company security protocols.

- Audit Mexican PASE toll transactions, reconciling usage and reporting findings directly to the Canadian Fuel Analyst.

1. Yard Operations, Asset Security &
- Maintenance

- Enforce tire security protocols, verifying that yard security inspects tires on all incoming/outgoing units and escalating any discrepancies immediately.

- Manage tire stamping programs, verifying that all tires are stamped and coordinating with service providers to enforce interchange agreements.





- Monitor and enforce yard idling policies, ensuring no tractor is idling unnecessarily in the yard.

- Coordinate preventive maintenance (PM) and annual inspections for tractors and trailers, ensuring equipment remains road-ready and compliant.

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

- Experience: 2+ years in cross-border trucking operations, fleet safety, yard management, or transportation administration.

- Cross-Border Expertise: Working knowledge of US/Mexico cross-border freight operations, B1 visa driver workflows, and CDL regulations.

- Telematics &
- Systems: Hands-on experience with Samsara ELD and fuel tracking platforms.

- Analytical &

- Audit Skills: Sharp eye for detail to audit PASE tolls, reconcile fuel consumption, detect theft, and maintain maintenance schedules.

- Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication to coordinate seamlessly across drivers, yard security, and the Canadian safety office.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bilingualism: Skilled working fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred to communicate with B1/MX drivers and security personnel.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
