Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting pet products, accessories, and supplies based on their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed decisions
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract attention and enhance product visibility
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure the store remains clean, organized, and inviting





Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a pet or technology-related environment
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and sales transactions
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and merchandising techniques
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and explain technical or pet-related features clearly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management abilities
- Friendly phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively
- Previous experience in upselling, retail sales, or technical sales is highly desirable
