Lotus Cannabis Co. is hiring a Sanitation Technician.

The Sanitation

Technician is responsible for the daily cleaning and sanitizing duties throughout our Good Production Practice facility. This also includes general sanitation of non-GPP areas such as the staff room, offices, hallways, and bathrooms. Sanitation crews are responsible for maintaining a Health Canada approved level of sanitation which can pass a Quality Assurance environmental analysis.

Experience within the industry is an asset, however, all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Cleaning and sanitation of the facility, fixtures, and PPE according to SOP’s with facility approved cleaning supplies.

Qualifications

- 2 years of custodial or sanitation experience an asset
- A good understanding of the principles behind cleaning, rinsing and sanitizing to achieve a result which can pass QA screening




- Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labour tasks required for employment in a commercial scale indoor growing facility
- Knowledge of Valuable Manufacturing Practices and Good Production Practices is an asset
- WHMIS certification is an asset
- Able to read and follow instructions contained in a standard operating procedure and then execute the action.
- Ability to lift 50lbs, as well as a physical aptitude for bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching and standing for extended periods of time
- Experience with machinery such as pressure washer, shop vacuum, commercial dishwasher, floor scrubber, and laundry machine an asset.
- Able to work independently on a predetermined schedule under little supervision with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
