Duties

- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, accurately processing customer orders and payments.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, giving correct change and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas and dining spaces following food safety guidelines.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality food standards.




- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.

Requirements

- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices in a restaurant workplace.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting with kitchen experience or restaurant background considered an advantage.
- Willingness to learn upselling techniques to promote menu items and increase sales.
