The Scheduling

Administrator supports staffing, scheduling, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and employee records. The role works with department leaders to maintain schedules, monitor staffing needs, coordinate training and reviews, track required documentation, and support compliance with policies and collective agreements. Support department leaders with scheduling and tracking probationary, provisionary, and annual performance reviews Coordinate education and training requirements and help maintain related records Help monitor staffing coverage needs, absences, and scheduling gaps,



and upscale concerns to leaders as needed Support payroll administration by preparing and submitting payroll information accurately and on time Apply collective agreement provisions and organizational policies when completing scheduling and payroll-related tasks (with leadership support as needed) Assist managers with administrative aspects of attendance management, WSIB documentation, and return-to-work coordination Track completion of pre-employment requirements, including credentials, police checks, immunizations, and other required documentation Complete other administrative and staffing support duties as assigned A college or university diploma/degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience) ~2–3 years of experience in an administrative, staffing, scheduling, payroll, or HR support role (healthcare or unionized workplace is an asset)
