Job Overview:

We are seeking dedicated Bakers to join our Craig’s Cookies team seasonally at Vaughan Mills for the holiday season! This would be a 2-month seasonal position from November - January. This position has the prospect to turn into a permanent Baker position.

Bakers will be responsible for preparing a variety of cookies as well as serving customers in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates should enjoy working in a team setting and have a strong customer service-oriented mindset.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Report to the Manager on Duty and complete all tasks as requested
- Prepare cookie dough and bake cookies in ovens following Craig’s Cookies recipes and quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers with a warm and friendly demeanour and provide assistance with product selection and recommendations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Replenish cookies and other products/supplies to ensure availability at all times
- Pick and package customer orders and complete customer transactions
- Prepare and package all other types of orders accurately and in a timely manner (pick-up, delivery, shipping, special events)




- Receive deliveries of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace while following food safety regulations
- Wash dishes, bowls, baking pans and other equipment following posted methods
- Complete opening and closing checklists and tasks, including but not limited to wiping and disinfecting all surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and taking out garbage and recycling
- Answer phones
- All other tasks as required by the business

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and directions with accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, use appliances, and lift heavy items

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00 per hour
