Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pump trucks to facilitate the movement of goods.
- Perform order picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
- Maintain an organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Tidy up the warehouse at the end of the work day.
Skills
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating various equipment safely and effectively.
- Proficiency with forklifts and other heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
