Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Rotating availability required, including mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, day-to-day success means maintaining site safety while acting as a calm, helpful presence. Your responsibilities include:

- Patrolling assigned areas by foot or vehicle to deter unauthorized entry and identify potential security or safety hazards.
- Controlling site access points and enforcing facility rules professionally and consistently.
- De-escalating tense or challenging situations using verbal communication techniques.
- Responding effectively to incidents and emergencies, including medical calls, intoxication, or disruptive behavior.
- Providing welcoming, professional customer service to visitors and staff.
- Using two-way radios effectively and writing clear,



accurate, and detailed incident reports.

Qualifications

Must-Have Requirements

- Valid Manitoba Security Guard License.
- First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a CSA-approved provider.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, for transparent reporting and radio communication.
- Legal authorization to work full-time in Canada.
- Physical capability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods and comfortably work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification (company-sponsored training is provided prior to onboarding if you do not already have this).
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, customer service, or public-facing roles.
