Duties

- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises and detect suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks, ensure safety protocols are followed, and deter theft or vandalism.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, visitor entries, and surveillance footage for record-keeping and reporting purposes.




- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or suspicious activity and intervening according to established procedures.
- Enforce security policies consistently while providing excellent customer service to visitors and staff.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation is essential for effective monitoring.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail for identifying potential threats or irregularities.
- Good communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency personnel.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively in accordance with safety protocols.
- Certification in security procedures or relevant law enforcement training is a plus; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held.
