Are you observant, dependable, and confident working with people? Mountainview Safety Services Ltd. is seeking qualified Security Guards to join our Safety & Security division.

In this role, you will help protect people and property, support site safety, and provide courteous service to clients and guests. We are looking for individuals who communicate clearly, exercise sound judgment, and remain calm when handling challenging situations.

What you will do

- Provide professional, respectful customer service to clients, guests, and site personnel.
- Greet visitors and manage access according to site procedures.
- Patrol designated areas and remain alert to suspicious activity, security concerns, and safety hazards.
- Complete radio check-ins and maintain clear communication with your team.
- Prepare accurate, timely reports and document incidents and observations.
- Identify and report safety hazards through the appropriate channels.
- Support crowd management and help maintain an orderly environment.
- Maintain a visible security presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents within your training, authority, and site procedures.
- Coordinate with police when required.
- Immediately report security breaches to the designated manager through established reporting channels.

Required qualifications

- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid security worker licence for the province of assignment and required Basic Security Training (BST).
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and driver’s abstract.
- Current Basic First Aid certification, formerly OFA Level 1, at minimum.
- Current Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification.
- Current H2S Alive certification.
- Ability to pass the required pre-employment drug screening.
