Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: St. John, NFL (Hybrid)

Duration: 5 months (Possible extension)

Client: Public Sector

Pay Rate: $75 - $80/hour [CAD]

Must Have

- Help validate the solution design from a business perspective and take a leadership role to validate business processes/requirements for Departments.
- Plan, facilitate, conduct, and document business processes/requirements validation workshops, meetings, and interviews.
- Working with the client to configure the new system according to the client’s needs, including security settings for users.
- Data migration - guiding and assisting the client with data cleansing and conversion, identifying gaps with current data structure, Capture data migration rules, mappings, and validation requirements.
- Testing – write test cases to validation requirements, lead internal and client testing, document bugs, and validate fixes. Support testing activities,



including test cases, execution, and client motorship with User Acceptance Testing.
- Change Management - Work closely with business representatives and OCIO Change Management, aiding development and implementation of business process change activities, Support training activities.
- Creation and finalization of standard project artifacts including, but not limited to:
- Workflows
- Use Cases
- Requirements documents
- Fit-gap analysis
- Business process models
- User guides for new/enhanced system functionality
- Complete any other client-related project tasks that will help ensure project success; and
- Assist with other project-related deliverables or tasks as required by the OCIO Project Manager.
