We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support one of the major Canadian banking clients on its digital banking initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Canadian retail banking

, preferably with hands-on experience at one or more of Canada's major banks, such as RBC, TD, Scotiabank, BMO, or CIBC . We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked on online banking platforms, digital banking applications, and customer-facing banking systems within technology delivery teams.

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON

Hybrid: 2 to 3 days onsite per week

Preferred Industry: Banking & Financial Services

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
- Support digital banking applications, online banking platforms, and retail banking technology initiatives.
- Analyze existing business processes, application functionality, system workflows, and user interfaces.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Business Owners, Product Owners, developers, QA, UX, and technology teams.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and functional reviews.
- Support application enhancements, UI validation, and system modernization initiatives.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing,



and defect resolution.
- Ensure business requirements align with existing banking functionality, user experience, and accessibility standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support end-to-end SDLC activities.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in enterprise technology environments.
- 4+ years of hands-on BSA experience working within software development or technology delivery teams.
- Robust Canadian retail banking experience , preferably with RBC, TD, Scotiabank, BMO, or CIBC.
- Proven experience supporting online banking, digital banking, or customer-facing retail banking applications .
- Strong understanding of retail banking products, business processes, and application workflows.
- Solid experience in requirements gathering, functional documentation, business process analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working closely with development, QA, and business teams.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
- Experience with SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.

Nice to Have

- Experience with digital banking modernization or UI/UX enhancement initiatives.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, SQL, or API integration analysis.
- Previous experience supporting large-scale banking technology transformation projects.
