Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Warehouse Manager and Vendor Support, the Senior Night Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all night-shift warehouse operations, including receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipping activities.

This leadership role ensures operational efficiency, productivity, safety compliance, and exceptional service delivery while developing and supporting warehouse team members. The successful candidate will provide hands-on leadership, drive process improvements, manage performance, and contribute to achieving operational and customer satisfaction goals.

What You'll DoWarehouse Operations Management

- Plan and schedule warehouse staff to support receiving, order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping activities.
- Lead daily shift meetings to communicate priorities, assign responsibilities, and coordinate workflow.
- Monitor productivity levels and adjust staffing resources to meet customer and operational requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely receipt, processing, and shipment of products.
- Maintain efficient warehouse operations while controlling costs and maximizing productivity.

Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, onboard, and train warehouse associates as required.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing development opportunities for team members.
- Conduct performance management activities, including goal setting, performance reviews, and corrective action when necessary.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work workplace.
- Promote employee engagement, accountability, and teamwork.

Safety & Compliance
- Champion a strong safety-first culture throughout warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable health and safety regulations.
- Monitor workplace safety communications and conduct regular safety discussions with employees.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.




- Ensure all associates follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and record-keeping requirements.

Customer Service & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between clients, warehouse operations, transportation teams, and management.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
- Address operational challenges quickly and effectively while maintaining service excellence.
- Provide regular operational updates and performance reports to leadership.

Continuous Improvement & Business Performance
- Monitor team performance against productivity goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in operational planning and budgeting activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, service quality, and cost management.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that support business objectives and operational excellence.
- Seek guidance and partner with Human Resources on employee-related matters when appropriate.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably within a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or transportation setting.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience leading warehouse operations, staff scheduling, and performance management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control, receiving, and shipping operations.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Positive physical condition and the ability to safely lift up to 55 pounds.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as a member of a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer literacy, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Hiring Process Transparency
- Salary Range: $65,000-70,000
