Server / Cashier – Ignite Pizzeria North Vancouver

Ignite Pizzeria North Vancouver is hiring a Server/Cashier to join our front-of-house team at our Lower Lonsdale location (corner of Lonsdale and 1st).

About Ignite Pizzeria

Ignite Pizzeria first opened in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood in 2017, followed by Gastown, Yaletown, South Surrey, and North Vancouver. We create handmade artisanal pizza baked in a stone-fired oven, with a focus on quality, consistency, and hospitality.

We take pride in our handcrafted pizzas, fresh ingredients, welcoming atmosphere, and the care we bring to both our guests and our team.

The Position

We are looking for a Server/Cashier to join our front-of-house team. This role includes greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, helping guests with menu questions, answering phones, maintaining a clean restaurant, and supporting the team during busy service.

Part-time and full-time hours are available.

Pay depends on experience. In addition to hourly wages, team members receive tips, which average approximately $3–$4 per hour.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly service




- Take customer orders accurately in person and by phone
- Bring orders to guests at their tables
- Help guests with menu items, ingredients, beer, and wine options
- Process payments and handle cashier duties
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary restaurant environment
- Follow opening, closing, and cleaning checklists
- Work as part of a team and support other staff when needed
- Assist with light kitchen or service duties during busy periods
- Stay calm and organized in a rapid-paced restaurant environment

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience preferred
- Serving experience is an asset
- Serving It Right certification required
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment
- English language required
