Bar & Grill Milton is hiring an experienced server for our front-of-house team.

We are a busy sports bar and grill: wings, drafts, big screens, and a room full of regulars who expect to be remembered. This is not an entry-level posting. We are looking for someone who has already carried a section in a full-service restaurant and can hold it on a Friday night.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING - Own your own section from first greeting to final payment in our SilverWare POS - Know the wing menu, sauces, drafts and happy hour menu well enough to sell them - Enter food and drink orders accurately and run food when the floor needs it - Handle cash, debit, credit and gift cards, and balance your cash-out each shift - Keep your section and side duties clean, stocked and set through the shift - Work a full house during games, UFC cards and wing nights - Work as one team with hosts, food runners, kitchen and bar WHAT YOU NEED - 1 or more years serving in a full-service restaurant.



Sports bar or high-volume pub is an asset - Valid Smart Serve certificate, or able to complete it before your first shift - 18 years of age or older (Ontario requirement for serving alcohol) - Able to stand and walk for a full shift and lift up to 25 lbs - Available evenings, weekends and holidays, including game nights - Legally entitled to work in Canada WHAT WE OFFER - $17.95 per hour plus tips - Hands-on training with a senior server before you take a section - Schedule posted in advance, with shift swaps handled in Ameego - A reliable team in a location that has been open for years, not a revolving door HOW TO APPLY Apply through this posting, or drop a resume off in person during afternoon hours.
