Duties

- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining attention to detail and presentation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist in food preparation when needed and maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sanitation and food safety compliance.




- Manage time effectively during busy service hours to provide efficient guest service without compromising quality.
- Support guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of hospitality principles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and check splitting.
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, upselling, and food preparation basics.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high energy levels.
