Job Summary

Duties

- Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and serve food and beverages promptly using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Manage table assignments, coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation, and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining sanitation protocols.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales while providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns proactively, and ensure a positive dining experience for all patrons.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, cash handling, and inventory using basic math skills; perform closing duties efficiently.
- Support food handling and preparation tasks as needed,

Qualifications

- Proven food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with strong guest service skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling.

- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable; familiarity with food industry standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively serve guests and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.
