We are seeking an energetic and friendly Serveur/serveuse au comptoir to join our dynamic food service team. Duties

- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders at the counter with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve food items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, providing correct change and receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience, particularly in restaurant or food industry settings, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Experience in cashiering or cash handling is a plus
- Kitchen or restaurant experience that demonstrates adaptability in a fast-paced environment
