About the Position

Neat Sheet Metal Inc. is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Estimator to join our team on a part-time basis. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with practical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, roofing, and architectural metal installation.

The ideal candidate will be able to review construction drawings, prepare accurate estimates, and assist with pricing and tender submissions.

Responsibilities

- Review architectural and construction drawings and specifications.
- Prepare estimates and quotations for sheet metal projects.
- Calculate material quantities, labour costs, and installation requirements.
- Estimate projects involving metal roofing, flashing, coping, gutters, downpipes, and architectural sheet metal.
- Request and compare material prices from suppliers.
- Prepare takeoffs and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and contractors when required.

Requirements




- Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Estimator is required.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and installation methods.
- Experience with material takeoffs, labour calculations, and project pricing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Working Hours
- Part time position.
- Morning schedule, with hours to be agreed upon.
- Work location: Toronto, Ontario.

Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
