Bugden Signs Limited is currently seeking a full-time sign fabricator/vinyl installer to join our team. We are locally owned and operated sign company that has provide Newfoundland and Labrador with the highest quality products and services for over 30 years. We design, manufacture, install, and service illuminated and non-illuminated signs including channel letters, canopies, cabinets, and pylon signs, as well as custom signage.

The sign industry is a very fast-paced environment, and requires a self-motivated, and hardworking individual to fill the position of sign fabricator. The position is available immediately with full-time hours. You will be required, when necessary, to work extended hours and/or weekends, work alongside the installation and service technicians and work independently. This work could include travel with overnights.

Duties include:

- Fabrication with plastics and metals

o Cutting and finishing of lexan, acrylic and other substrates o Cutting, and finishing of metal components
- Vinyl Graphic Application
- Installation of Electrical Components for illumination to ULC standards
- Quality control of production material
- Work with hand and power tools
- Troubleshooting and maintaining of tools, equipment and company trucks
- Complete required paperwork including: JSA's (Job safety analysis forms), quality control forms, time tracking, and inspection forms.

Requirements:

- Fabrication skills




- Understanding of electrical
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well with a team, but also solve problems and find solutions independently.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary.
- Knowledge of, and ability to work with power tools, hand tools, etc.
- Strong verbal and written English

Assets:

- Certificates in First Aid, Fall Protection, Powerline Hazard, and WHIMIS
- Previous experience in the sign industry
- Vinyl installation and application
- CNC experience
- Electrical experience (basic)

Hired candidate will be required to provide:

- Valid driver's license and drivers abstract.
- Code of Conduct
- Proof of any previous training and/or certificates
