Social Media Coordinator

Full-Time | St. Thomas, Ontario | Multi-Brand Marketing

About the Opportunity

We're looking for a creative, organized, and hands-on Social Media Coordinator to bring six unique brands to life online.

Our companies work across woodworking automation, industrial laser technology, cabinet doors, lean manufacturing, and software. Each has its own audience, personality, and story to tell. Your job is to make sure those stories reach the right people through engaging, consistent, and relevant social media content.

You'll manage the entire social media process, from planning content and capturing photos and videos to writing captions, editing content, scheduling posts, and tracking performance. You'll work closely with our Marketing Director and teams across the companies to turn ideas, products, customer stories, and real-world manufacturing activity into content people actually want to see.

This isn't a role where you'll spend all day reposting content. We want someone who takes initiative, brings ideas to the table, gets involved, and understands how to make each brand stand out.

You'll also have opportunities to travel to trade shows, customer locations, and company events, including international travel outside of Canada.

If you enjoy creating content, understand what makes people stop scrolling, and can switch between different brand voices without losing the plot, we'd like to hear from you.

You don't need to be an expert in all these industries when you start. You do need to be curious, willing to learn, and able to turn what you learn into content that makes sense to each audience.

What You'll Do:

1. Social Media Management

- Plan, organize, and publish across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.

- Follow established marketing strategies and content pillars while identifying opportunities to improve content.
- Manage engagement through comments, messages, and audience interactions while maintaining each brand's voice.

2. Content Creation

- Create engaging social media content, including graphics, short-form videos, photography, captions, and copy.
- Edit video content for social media and adapt assets for different platforms.
- Keep photos, videos, graphics, and other content assets organized and accessible.

3. Brand Voice & Messaging

- Learn and maintain the distinct brand voice, personality, and positioning of each company.
- Adjust messaging for different audiences and platforms without making every company sound the same.
- Review content for accuracy, quality, spelling, and consistency before submitting it for approval.

You are the brand online. The content you create and the way you communicate shape how customers, partners, and potential employees see each company. 4. Events & Travel

- Create content before, during, and after trade shows, product launches, customer visits, and company events.
- Capture photos and videos on-site, including product demonstrations and behind-the-scenes activity.
- Be willing and able to travel internationally outside of Canada, including to trade shows and business events when required.

What We're Looking For

- Experience managing social media accounts for a business, brand, or organization.
- Experience creating and editing short-form video content.
- Photography and basic filming skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Attention to detail, particularly when working with product information and brand messaging.

Considered an Asset but Not Required

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or manufacturing processes.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, CapCut, and Opus.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and performance reporting.
