Role Description The Solana Developer will design, develop, and maintain blockchain-based applications and smart contracts on the Solana ecosystem in a full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services, integrating Solana programs with web applications and APIs, optimizing code for performance and security, and debugging and resolving technical issues.

The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, reviewing code, and contributing to architectural decisions and best practices. This is a hybrid role based in Montreal, QC,



with a combination of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, especially in building scalable services and APIs.
- Hands-on Programming experience with modern languages commonly used in Solana development (e.g., Rust, TypeScript, JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns.
- Experience with Solana blockchain development, smart contracts (programs), and related tooling (e.g., Anchor, Solana CLI).
- Knowledge of web3 concepts, cryptography basics, and secure coding practices.
- Ability to write clean, testable code and use version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional proficiency in English; French language skills for collaboration in Montreal are an asset.
