Since 1979, Dear-Born Baby & Kids has been helping families prepare for one of the most exciting times in their lives.

We're an independently owned specialty baby store with a large showroom offering everything from strollers, car seats and nursery furniture to feeding essentials, toys and accessories.

What makes us different is the personal attention we give our customers. Expectant parents often arrive with lots of questions and our job is to help them feel comfortable, informed and confident about their purchases.

We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who genuinely enjoy selling, helping customers and learning about new products.

The Position

This isn't an ordinary retail sales job. Our customers aren't simply picking something off a shelf. They're often making important purchases for their growing families and appreciate someone who will take the time to listen, explain their options and help them choose what's right for them.

You'll learn about a wide range of baby products, demonstrate their features and help customers make informed decisions. Whether you're helping a couple choose their first stroller, comparing car seats or putting together a nursery, you'll have the opportunity to build relationships with customers and make their shopping experience enjoyable.

What We're Looking For

- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a customer-focused or specialty retail workplace.
- A genuine enjoyment of selling and helping people make purchasing decisions.
- A warm, friendly personality and excellent communication skills.
- Confidence approaching customers, asking questions and recommending products.
- An interest in learning about baby gear,



nursery furniture and related products.
- The ability to work independently and contribute to a supportive team.
- Reliability, initiative and a willingness to help wherever needed.
- Availability to work at least one weekend day on a regular basis.

Experience with baby products is an asset, but not essential. You may have sold baby gear, nursery furniture or children's products in the past, or you may be familiar with these products through your own family experience. We're happy to provide product training to someone who has the right attitude, sales ability and enthusiasm to learn.
