Job Title: Sr. Accounting / IFRS17 Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Accounting / IFRS17 Analyst with strong knowledge of IFRS 17 standards, insurance accounting, financial reporting, and data reconciliation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing accounting policies, validating IFRS 17 calculations, and preparing financial analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret, implement, and maintain IFRS 17 accounting policies and reporting standards.
- Work with CSM calculations, Risk Adjustment (RA), Variable Fee Approach (VFA), General Measurement Model (GMM), and Premium Allocation Approach (PAA).
- Collaborate with IT and Actuarial teams to validate data inputs and outputs within the IFRS 17 engine.
- Prepare financial analysis, variance analysis, and reports for management, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
- Perform data reconciliation and validate financial processing outputs.
- Support IFRS 17 reporting,



accounting processes, and compliance requirements.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and coordinate resolutions with relevant teams.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and support audit activities.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of IFRS 17 standards and insurance accounting.
- Experience with CSM, RA, VFA, GMM, and PAA models.
- Robust financial analysis and variance analysis skills.
- Experience in data reconciliation and financial data processing.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and specialized IFRS 17 accounting and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Knowledge of actuarial concepts and insurance valuation methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with actuarial, finance, and technology teams.
- Familiarity with financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
