Our Shifts & Perks

- Day Shift: Mon–Thu (6:30 AM – 4:00 PM), Fri (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Afternoon Shift: Mon–Thu (4:00 PM – 3:30 AM)

What We Build (Our Parts & Projects) At Durose, you will work on an incredibly diverse portfolio of heavy industrial OEM components, including:

- Heavy OEM Weldments: Complex components like custom rear axle box housings and hollow supporting beams for mining, forestry, and construction equipment.
- Complex Structural Shapes: Custom-rolled and formed angles, bars, beams, channels, and plates.
- Architectural Assemblies: Large-scale structural elements for prominent global facilities and stadium structures.

Role Breakdown & Requirements Intermediate Fitter ($29.00 - $32.00/hr)

- Experience: 3 to 5 years of structural steel fitting and fabrication experience.
- Requirements:
- Interpret engineered drawings to fabricate a variety of custom structures.
- Experience working safely with all standard tooling and machinery in the fabrication industry.
- Able to fabricate parts using layout fitting without jigs or fixtures.




- Possess a high standard of quality in workmanship and able to fit to tight tolerances.
- Able to work effectively and efficiently.

Advanced / First-Class Fitter ($32.00 - $36.00/hr)

- Experience: 5 to 7+ years of experience in heavy custom steel fabrication.
- Requirements:
- Able to manage large custom projects with minimal supervision.
- Interpret engineered drawings to fabricate a variety of custom structures.
- Experience working safely with all standard tooling and machinery in the fabrication industry.
- Able to fabricate parts using layout fitting without jigs or fixtures.
- Possess a high standard of quality in workmanship and able to fit to tight tolerances.
- Able to work effectively and efficiently.

Core Requirements (All Levels)

- Certifications: CWB Certification and/or Trade Certification is required.
- Technical Base: Proven hands-on experience with Fluxcore and Metalcore welding techniques.
- Assets: Valid Forklift and/or Overhead Crane Operator credentials.
