Overview

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on mechanic who enjoys working with tractors, RVs and equipment and has the people skills to help sell them.

This is a varied position for someone who can diagnose and repair mechanical problems, prepare equipment for sale, assist customers with purchases and help grow our business. We want someone who takes pride in their workmanship and understands the importance of valuable customer service.

Duties

- Diagnose, service and repair tractors, farm equipment and RVs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and plumbing systems as qualified.
- Perform maintenance, inspections, seasonal servicing and pre-delivery preparation.
- Help customers select equipment, RVs, attachments, parts and accessories.
- Explain repair recommendations, prepare estimates and discuss service options.
- Assist with equipment and RV sales, customer follow-ups and demonstrations.




- Keep the shop and work areas organized and maintain accurate service records.
- Work safely, efficiently and professionally with customers and coworkers.

Experience

- Previous hands-on mechanical repair experience is required.
- Tractor, agricultural equipment, diesel, trailer or RV experience is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable talking with customers and helping them make purchasing decisions.
- Able to troubleshoot problems, work independently and manage priorities.
- Valid driver's licence; ability to move or road-test equipment where authorized.

Relevant trade certification is an asset. Equivalent practical experience will be considered Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
