Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with heavy equipment operation, industrial machinery, and electrical systems is highly desirable.

The Automotive

Mechanic will play a key role in ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, supporting our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles and machinery using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct repairs on various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs
- Operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently during maintenance or repair tasks
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards for vehicle and equipment maintenance
- Assist with assembly, installation, or replacement of parts on vehicles or machinery




- Document all repairs accurately and communicate findings clearly to team members or customers
- Assisting in yardwork

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role with dealership experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems and heavy equipment operation
- Proficiency with schematics, diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work with various industrial machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, HVAC systems, and farm machinery
- Experience with electrical systems repair and troubleshooting is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for customer interactions and teamwork
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace
