We are looking for an experienced and responsible Shop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our medium-duty and heavy-duty truck repair shop.

The ideal candidate must have experience in truck repair shop operations, staff supervision, repair scheduling, and workflow management. Knowledge of commercial trucks, including 3-ton and 5-ton trucks, as well as heavy-duty trucks, is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily shop operations.
- Manage mechanics, technicians, and other shop staff.
- Assign repair jobs and monitor work progress.
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks.
- Coordinate repair schedules and ensure jobs are completed on time.
- Monitor repair quality and ensure work meets safety standards.
- Coordinate parts ordering, inventory, and supplier communication.
- Communicate with customers regarding repair estimates, job progress, and completion times.
- Maintain work orders, service records, and shop documentation.




- Assist with troubleshooting complex mechanical issues when required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop.
- Ensure shop safety procedures and company policies are followed.

Requirements
- Previous experience supervising a truck repair shop or similar automotive repair facility.
- Good knowledge of medium-duty and heavy-duty truck maintenance and repairs.
- Experience with commercial trucks, including 3-ton and 5-ton trucks, is an asset.
- Robust leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple repair jobs and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of parts management, repair estimates, and work orders.
- Mechanic certification or relevant technical experience is an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
