Lynn Valley Optometry is seeking a Vision Therapist / Neuro-Visual Rehabilitation Assistant to join our clinical team and support patients through structured vision therapy programs designed to improve how the eyes and brain work together.

Vision therapy focuses on neuro-visual rehabilitation, helping patients improve visual skills related to reading, coordination, learning, concussion recovery, and athletic performance.

This role is ideal for individuals interested in neuroscience, rehabilitation, kinesiology, psychology, occupational therapy, or education who enjoy working one-on-one with patients and guiding them through meaningful progress.

As part of our team, you will work directly with patients through personalized therapy programs designed and supervised by our optometrists.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct one-on-one in-office vision therapy sessions
- Guide patients through structured visual exercises and therapeutic activities
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Support patients with prescribed home therapy exercises




- Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapy journey
- Maintain and organize therapy equipment and materials
- Collaborate with optometrists and clinical team members to support patient outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in vision therapy is preferred
- Background in neuroscience, kinesiology, psychology, occupational therapy, education, or rehabilitation therapy is an asset
- Experience working with children, learning challenges, concussion recovery, or rehabilitation patients is beneficial
- Experience in a healthcare or therapy clinic setting is considered an asset

A structured 6-month training program may be provided for the right candidate.
