Job Summary

Canadian Serval Industries is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder / Fabricator to join our team in the exciting and fast-paced mining industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG welding, plasma cutting, and metal fabrication, along with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, fitting, assembling, and welding metal components to meet project specifications. They must be comfortable reading basic shop drawings, working independently or as part of a team, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work setting.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is eager to contribute to the production of quality equipment and components for the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform MIG welding and plasma cutting on various metal components.
- Cut, fit, assemble, and weld fabricated parts according to project requirements.
- Read and interpret basic shop drawings and measurements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.




- Apply strong mechanical aptitude to fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain high standards of quality.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with MIG welding and plasma cutting.
- Ability to read and understand basic shop drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or the mining industry is an asset.

Employment Type: Full-time

Start Date: Immediate
