We are currently seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our team as a General Labourer / Shipper Receiver.

This is a hands-on position that offers a wide variety of work throughout the shop. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting our production, shipping, receiving, inventory, and facility operations.

Responsibilities

- Receive incoming materials, parts, and supplies.
- Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Package and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Use our ERP system (JobBOSS²) to receive inventory, issue materials, complete transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Cut material using a horizontal bandsaw and other basic shop equipment.
- Assist production departments with various labour and support tasks.
- Maintain organized inventory storage locations.
- Perform shop cleanup and housekeeping duties.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.
- Assist with facility maintenance and general shop organization.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications Required





- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift or willingness to become certified.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred

- Previous experience in shipping and receiving.
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Forklift certification.
- Experience with ERP systems (JobBOSS² experience is considered an asset).
- Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
- Experience operating bandsaws or other shop equipment.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
