Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our dynamic software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of a wide range of applications across multiple platforms, including mobile and web. Your expertise will help deliver seamless user experiences by identifying bugs, verifying fixes, and collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders. Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms, as well as web-based applications.
- Utilize automation tools such as Cypress, JMeter or Postman to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Perform manual testing to identify UI/UX issues, functional bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities across diverse operating systems including Linux and Windows.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues by analyzing logs from MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other databases; utilize SQL/PL-SQL queries for data validation.
- Conduct API testing using RESTful services to verify data exchange integrity between client applications and backend servers hosted on AWS or Azure cloud environments.
- Participate in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with tools such as GitLab, GitHub, SVN, TFS, Azure DevOps (formerly TFS), Jenkins, Maven, and Docker to facilitate rapid release cycles.
- Document defects clearly in Jira or similar tracking tools; perform regression testing after fixes are implemented to confirm resolution.

Requirements





- Proven experience in software quality assurance with a solid understanding of QA methodologies and testing life cycles.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Cypress or Selenium WebDriver integrated with TestNG or JUnit for functional testing.
- Experience with test management and execution tracking tools (e.g., TestRail)
- Strong understanding of API testing tools and techniques (Postman, curl, REST/JSON)
- Proficiency with bug tracking and project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Knowledge of performance, load, and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
- Some knowledge or experience of programming languages including Java, Python, JavaScript for developing automated tests.
- Familiarity with mobile application testing on Android and iOS devices; knowledge of UI/UX principles is a plus.
- Experience working with version control systems like Git (GitHub/GitLab), SVN or TFS; familiarity with DevOps practices is advantageous.
- Understanding of operating systems including Windows, Linux, macOS; experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is preferred.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, XML, PHP, Node.js; ability to perform cross-browser compatibility testing is desirable.

- Domain Knowledge: Knowledge or background in Telecommunication networks and protocols (4G LTE, 5G), including edge computing or telco-specific AI application testing
- Familiarity with SQL and database querying for data verification

Pay: $24.92-$32.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
