Job Summary:

The Senior Software Developer specializing in ERP and Case Management will play a critical role in enhancing and maintaining the Workforce Information Network (WIN) system based on Oracle PeopleSoft HCM. This role involves delivering advanced digital solutions across the full software development lifecycle, focusing on PeopleSoft HCM modules such as Absence Management, Time & Labour, Benefits, and Payroll. The developer will work within an agile, multidisciplinary team to support automation, system upgrades, and improved user experiences for Ontario Public Service employees.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain PeopleSoft HCM applications and integrations.
- Implement enhancements for digital onboarding, self-service capabilities, and transition to Fluid UI.
- Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to enable business insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including managers, solution designers, and business experts.
- Support unit testing, system integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies and best practices to improve solutions.
- Provide technical expertise for large-scale ERP system automation and process improvements.

Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in PeopleSoft HCM modules development, especially Absence Management, Time & Labour, Benefits, and Payroll.
- Proficient with PeopleSoft development tools: Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, and BI Publisher.
- Experience with PeopleSoft security, workflow, PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Change Assistant, and Data Mover.




- Knowledge of Oracle database management and application database administration.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) phases in multi-platform environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired Skills:
- Experience with Fluid UI development including navigation, tiles, dashboards, Activity Guides, and role-based security.
- Ability to develop Linux scripts and familiarity with system administration.
- Previous experience working in the Ontario Public Service or other public sector environments.
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with agile and self-directed team environments.
