Overview

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company standards.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Manage POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and billing.
- Lead team members in providing outstanding customer service, addressing guest inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff members to build a competent and motivated team.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and health codes across the restaurant or food service area.
- Assist with restaurant management tasks such as inventory control, scheduling, and training new employees.
- Support kitchen operations by supervising food prep, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, coaching, and leadership.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management,



or hospitality roles with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest interactions professionally.
- Leadership qualities including team management, supervising experience, interviewing skills, and conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including kitchen workflows and food industry standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy shifts while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required; hospitality background is highly valued. This position is ideal for motivated individuals looking to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
