We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Manager to lead our automotive service and body shop operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with solid mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of mechanical and body repairs
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians and staff
- Handle customer interactions, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
- Work directly with insurance companies on claims, approvals, and supplements
- Utilize estimating software such as Mitchell for writing and managing repair estimates
- Drive sales by recommending and upselling services and parts
- Maintain accurate financial records, including cash handling and invoicing
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized shop environment
- Manage inventory, order parts, and coordinate with suppliers
- Monitor technician performance and provide training and development
- Conduct performance reviews and implement productivity improvements




- Develop strategies to increase efficiency, revenue, and customer retention

Requirements & Experience

- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service manager
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes
- Experience using Mitchell 1 or similar estimating systems
- Experience working with insurance companies, including claims handling and supplements
- Leadership experience managing a team in an automotive or similar environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Sales experience, including upselling services and products
- Experience handling cash transactions and shop financials
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
