ChitChaat is a fast-growing Indian street food brand based in Etobicoke known for authentic flavours, vibrant dishes, and a fun customer experience. We are expanding with a food truck and looking for a skilled Food Truck Operator who is also a chef and driver to manage daily operations.

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Food Truck Operator / Chef who can drive the truck to different locations, prepare fresh Indian street food, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive the food truck to designated locations and events safely.
- Prepare and cook menu items such as chaat, snacks, and other street food items.
- Set up and operate the food truck kitchen efficiently.
- Maintain food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
- Manage food prep, inventory, and stock levels.
- Handle customer orders and provide friendly service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck and kitchen equipment.
- Follow all food safety and health regulations.
- Assist with loading supplies and preparing ingredients before service.




- Close and secure the truck after service.

Requirements :

- Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence with clean driving record.
- Previous chef or cook experience (preferably Indian cuisine or street food).
- Ability to drive and operate a large food truck safely.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards .
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Friendly personality and good customer service skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and events.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a food truck or quick-service kitchen .
- Knowledge of Indian street food preparation .
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $20.00-$24.24 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
