- Duties & responsibilities
- Lawn mowing, edging and trimming
- Shovelling dirt, rock and various materials
- Mulching and top-dressing beds
- Operating power tools and equipment
- Planting trees, shrubs and perennials
- Raking, blowing and site cleanup
- Sod installation and seeding
- Loading and unloading materials The Ability to lift 50lbs
- Dirt work and digging by hand
- Irrigation and drainage assistance
- Trenching
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Working from heights
- Following crew lead instructions
- Conduct general site cleanup and debris removal to maintain a safe work workplace
- Support construction-related tasks including minor repairs and structural adjustments as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools,
and construction practices is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions, including lifting heavy materials and operating machinery
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscape installation and maintenance
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
