Overview Join our client's energetic team as a General Labourer and be a vital part of their manufacturing operations in the Smithville area! In this energetic role, you will contribute to the smooth functioning of our production facility by performing a variety of hands-on tasks. Your efforts will support assembly processes, material handling, and general site maintenance, ensuring that our manufacturing line runs efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop mechanical skills and gain factory experience in a fast-paced environment where every task counts.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the assembly line by using hand tools and power tools to support manufacturing processes
- Operate tow motors and pallet jacks and other warehouse manufacturing equipment to safely to move materials and products around the facility
- Prepare, organize, and load raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production area
- Perform routine inspections of machinery and equipment, identifying mechanical issues early to prevent downtime
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including factory floors, storage zones, and tool stations
- Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently,



including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools

Experience

- Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with assembly lines or production environments is a strong asset
- Comfortable lifting and pushing/ pulling weight of 55lb or more as needed
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with basic machinery maintenance is advantageous
- Hand and power tool is mandatory
- Warehouse experience that demonstrates ability to handle materials efficiently and safely
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects as required
