Overview

Duties

- Provide a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling for clients of all ages
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and products
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Foster strong client relationships through excellent communication skills and personalized service
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to offer innovative services
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews

Experience

- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a professional salon setting




- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and chemical treatments
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a salon environment
- Ability to upsell products naturally while focusing on client needs
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new team members
- Excellent communication skills to ensure explicit understanding of client desires and salon policies

Pay: $17.85-$25.00 per hour
