West Hillhurst Paint + Design is an independent Benjamin Moore paint and Hunter Douglas blinds store located in West Hillhurst, in Central Calgary.

This position would be a part-time work-from home opportunity for experienced designers or window coverings professionals, with a base salary plus commission.

Job description

Window Coverings

- In-store demonstrations with clients, demonstrating product options and operation
- Attend in-home consultations and perform measures
- Complete relevant industry training to maintain up-to-date working knowledge of products and trends
- Meet and work with industry reps, suppliers, and vendors
- Maintain client status and
- Complete ordering, invoicing, and payment collection with attention to detail

Customer Service

- Represent West Hillhurst Paint + Design professionally with enthusiasm and a friendly attitude
- Become a product knowledge expert in Hunter Douglas and Alta Window Fashions
- Greet customers warmly and ensure a good customer experience;
- Interact with and assist all customers in a positive, mature and upbeat manner
- Provide all customers with a friendly and positive shopping experience.
- Ensure an inviting environment for customers by maintaining a clean,



safe store through merchandising, tidying and dusting as required along with replacing and facing stock on a constant basis

Priority will be given to applicants who express interest in working in the paint department in addition to window coverings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a vehicle and valid drivers license
- Minimum 1-year experience with window coverings
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship for employment visa status.
- High school diploma or comparable (e.g. GED).
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends between Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm, Saturdays 9:00am-5:00pm. This position will require that you are available Saturdays.
- Must have intermediate computer skills and a personable telephone manner

Job Types : Full time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
