Job Overview Amato Gelato Cafe (West Springs) is opening up a new location in June 2026.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of Italian coffees, gelato, dolce, panini, Roman style pizza and cocktails.
- Handle POS system for in store orders as well as to-go orders.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products
- Provide excellent customer service and hospitality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling and food safety practices.
- Manage inventory and ordering of product weekly.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Restock supplies as necessary and assist with inventory management.
- Training and develop staff.

Qualifications





- 2 years previous barista/ cafe or supervisor experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Being able to model standards and expectations.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
