Overview

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area according to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Assist in food preparation and food service tasks as needed
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels for beverages and food items

Skills

- Proven experience as a Barista or in the food industry, with knowledge of serving and food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient cashiering




- Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in food service or related roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
