Overview

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed during food handling and serving
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Follow food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices at all times
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts

Skills

- Proficiency with POS systems , particularly Micros POS , for order entry and cashiering




- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse patrons
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling , and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently
