Job Overview

Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and giving change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer expectations
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met

Experience





- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Experience using POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods and prioritize tasks accordingly

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
